MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017969 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'amphibious mobility system.'

Inventor(s) include Pankaj Kumar Goswami.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An amphibious mobility system, a platform 1 configured with multiple telescopic rods 2 that provides support to the platform 1 on a ground surface, a pair of inflatable members 3 enabling the platform 1 to float, a first and second pedal 4 for enabling a user to control acceleration and braking of platform 1, a motorized propeller 5 for providing movement to platform 1 on surface, a steering wheel 6 for enabling user to steer platform 1, a pair motorized ball joint 12 for providing movement to a pair of flaps 7 attached with joints 12 to alter direction of the platform 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 for determining presence of any obstacle, and a SONAR (Sound Navigation And Ranging) module mapped on the platform 1 for detecting leveling of surface, and accordingly the microcontroller actuates rods 2 for adjusting alignment of platform 1."
