MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511133586 A) filed by Dr. Mohd Faisal Jalil; Dr. Mohammad Shariz Ansari; Dr. Shahida Khatoon; and Dr. Ameer Faisal, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'an adaptive multi-source energy fusion irrigation system and a method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Mohd Faisal Jalil; Dr. Mohammad Shariz Ansari; Dr. Shahida Khatoon; and Dr. Ameer Faisal.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is an adaptive multi-source energy fusion irrigation system (100) including a sensing assembly (102) comprising a plurality of sensors (104) configured to acquire soil and environmental parameters including soil-moisture, temperature, humidity, and illumination intensity. An energy-harvesting unit (110) connected to the sensing assembly (102) captures and regulates electrical energy from solar, thermal, and vibration sources to provide a regulated power supply. A housing element (118) encloses a control unit (120) electrically connected to the sensing assembly (102) and energy-harvesting unit (110), the control unit comprising a data pre-processing module (122), an analysing module (124), a feedback module (126), an optimisation module (130), and a decision-control module (132) to process sensor and energy data and generate actuation commands. An irrigation actuation assembly (138) regulates water flow through pumps, valves, or sprinklers, while a battery unit (136) stores energy."
