MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013400 A) filed by Mr. Rajesh Kumar Agarwal; and Ms. Ankita Agarwal, New Delhi, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'an agrochemical synergistic fungicidal composition comprising thiophanate-methyl and copper oxychloride.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Rajesh Kumar Agarwal; and Ms. Ankita Agarwal.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a synergistic fungicidal agrochemical composition comprising bio-effective amount of actives Thiophanate-methyl in an amount in between 10% to 25% weight percent ratio with respect to said composition and Copper Oxychloride in an amount in between 30% to 50% weight percent ratio with respect to said composition. The present invention is bio efficacious, synergistic, safe to natural enemies and it has no toxicity. It is harmonious to plant/crop environment and does not has phytotoxicity on any parts of plant."
