MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441033080 A) filed by K. Ramakrishnan College Of Technology, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on April 26, 2024, for 'an air bag system for two wheelers riding jackets.'

Powered by an external battery, the system includes a compressor(53) unit to ensure controlled inflation without combustion risks. Integration of the specified accelerometer sensor(52)is crucial for accurate collision detection, while nylon material offers strength and tear resistance vital for proper airbag function.
