MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311086063 A) filed by Mercedes-Benz Group Ag, Stuttgart, Germany, on Dec. 16, 2023, for 'an air conditioning system for a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air conditioning system for a vehicle is disclosed. The air conditioning system (100) comprises at least one outlet port (102) positioned downstream of an air flow passage in an air flow direction of the air-conditioning system (100), and one or more air ducts (106) coupled to the at least one outlet port (102). The one or more air ducts (106) comprise at least one slot (304) and the at least one outlet port (102) comprises at least one protrusion (202) provided on an outer surface of the at least one outlet port (102). The at least one slot (304) and the at least one protrusion (202) are configured for engagement with each other during fitment of the one or more air ducts (106) to the at least one outlet port (102)."
