MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411029207 A) filed by Engineers India Limited, New Delhi, on April 10, 2024, for 'an air heater.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present disclosure relates to an air heater (100) that includes a housing (10), a plurality of tubes (40), a plurality of fins (50), and an air source (60). The housing (10) may be defined with a first header box (20) and a second header box (30) at either ends of the housing (10). At least one of the first header box (20) and the second header box (30) may be filled with cold liquid. The tubes may be positioned within the housing (10). The fins may be defined at outer portions (40a) of each tube, wherein density of the fins increases along direction of flow of the cold liquid. Furthermore, the air source may be configured to supply ambient air towards the housing (10) in a direction perpendicular to the flow of the cold liquid, wherein the ambient air flows over the tubes to allow exchange of heat between the ambient air and the cold liquid."
