MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012785 A) filed by Mitesh A Dharwadkar, Brampton, Canada, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'an air purifying wearable mask with dual configurations and a method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An air purifying wearable mask (100) with dual configurations is provided. A mask housing unit (110) is connected to a headband (160) in at least two modes. In a headphone mode (310), an earcup housing unit (240) is connected to a headband (headband connector (220)) via an ear cup connecter (250) affixed to the earcup housing unit. The mask housing unit (110) is connected to the earcup housing unit via at least two first pogo pins (260) and a first magnet (270). Further, in an ear loop mode (320), ear loop (280) is connected to the headband via an ear loop stem (340) affixed to the ear loop. The mask housing unit is connected to the ear loop via at least two second pogo pins (290) and a second magnet (300). Further, a soft cushion (350) is adapted to provide comfort to the user during prolonged use."
