MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311087227 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'an alignment tool.'
Inventor(s) include Chauhan, Pradeep.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An alignment tool (1) to connect an axle (17) with a collar (18) of a wheel (101) of a vehicle (100). The tool (1) comprising a body (2) having a first end (3) and a second end (4). A rod (8) extending longitudinally along an axis X-X from the first end (3) of the body (2). A first resilient member (9) disposed inside the body (2) along the axis X-X and coupled with the rod (8) wherein the rod (8) being configured to align the collar (18) of the wheel (101) with the axle (17) at a first position and retract rearwardly along the axis X-X at a second position."
