MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088221 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'an arrangement to reduce vibrations in a washing machine.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[0026] An arrangement to reduce vibration in a washing machine is provided. The arrangement includes an outer tub (102) provided inside a cabinet of the washing machine, a plurality of suspension assemblies (104) operably coupled between a portion of the cabinet and a portion of the outer tub (102) such that the outer tub (102) is suspended over the plurality of suspension assemblies (104). Each of the suspension assembly (104) is coupled with the cabinet via a hanger (106). Further, the hanger (106) is provided with a plurality of rigid rods (302) that that provides structural rigidity to the hanger (106) and holds the suspension assembly (104) rigidly during vibration by arresting vertical movement of the outer tub (102)."
