MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311086561 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 18, 2023, for 'an assembly for regulating water flow in a washing machine.'
Inventor(s) include Mullapudi Sivaji Ganesh.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assembly (100) for regulating water flow in a washing machine is provided. The assembly (100) includes a water dispensing module (102) and a shower plate (106). The water dispensing module (102) further includes a water flow tube (202), a valve operator (204) and a motor (210) configured to rotate the valve operator (204). Further, the valve operator (204) is rotated by the motor (210) in different positions, based on the position of the valve operator (204), a first set of knobs (212, 214) and a second set of knobs (216, 218) operate one of: the first valve assembly (206) and the second valve (222) or both to regulate flow of water in one of: the first valve assembly (206) and the second valve assembly (208) or both into the shower plate (106) of the washing machine."
