According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an assembly (100) and an associated method (200) to facilitate washing of compressor blades in gas turbines. The assembly (100) comprises of a plurality of air-assisted injectors (102) positioned around periphery of an inlet (104) of the gas turbine, with each of the air-assisted injectors being supplied with a washing liquid and a compressed air for atomizing the washing liquid. The injected mixture from each of the air-assisted injectors (102) is directed to act on the compressor blades (108) to facilitate cleaning. Herein, each of the plurality of air-assisted injectors (102) are coupled to an outer manifold ring (603) and an inner manifold ring (604), respectively. The outer manifold ring (603) supplies the cleaning liquid (601), and the inner manifold ring (604) supplies compressed air (602)."
