MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411029922 A) filed by Jai Kishan Bhagwani, New Delhi, on April 12, 2024, for 'an electrically operated sealing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An Electrically operated sealing device This invention relates to an electrically operated heat-sealing device and process for sealing or seaming together two layers of heat-sealable polyethylene material. The electrically operated sealing device structurally comprises a pair of pressing frames(3,4) and heat conducting metal pressing plates (5,6), which have a protective cover (8). The pair of pressing frames are held together by one or more handles (12), which are operated by a simple lever mechanism. The digital timer(25) within the circuit, controls the time of heat application on the bags to be sealed."
