MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641047987 A) filed by Lakshmi Radhika G; D Umamaheswari; Dr. Senthil Prabhu R; Siddharam Bagalkote; Mr. Hemanth S N; and Mr. Venkanagouda Shridharagouda Agasimundin, Chitradurga, Karnataka, on April 15, for 'an enhanced lopinavir solid dispersion composition incorporating a permeability enhancer and process thereof.'

The composition improves solubility and intestinal permeability, resulting in enhanced drug absorption. The invention also provides a method of preparation involving solvent evaporation and blending techniques. The developed formulation demonstrates improved dissolution and permeability compared to conventional formulations, thereby reducing variability and improving therapeutic efficacy."
