Inventor(s) include Ishika Vasnani; and Tanmayee Puntambekar.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an ergonomic hand-held plier comprising a working nose and a pair of handles pivotally connected thereto. The handles are arranged at an angle of approximately 160 degrees relative to the working nose and are dimensionally defined with an overall length of approximately 135 mm and a gripping length of approximately 115 mm. A contoured grip region having a 25 mm offset improves pressure distribution and wrist alignment. The configuration maintains a neutral wrist posture, enhances comfort, and improves usability during prolonged operation."
