MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621031310 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on March 13, for 'an ergonomically angled three-in-one hand-held tin cutter, tin puncturer and bottle opener with offset handle geometry.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An ergonomically configured three-in-one hand-held kitchen tool integrating a tin cutter, tin puncturer and bottle opener is disclosed. The tool has an overall length of approximately 190 mm and comprises a metallic head portion and an angularly offset handle. The handle includes an 80 mm straight segment, a 35 mm inclined segment, a 40 mm concave underside gripping region, and radiused transitions including R5, R10, R15 and R20. The head has a height of approximately 40 mm and an internal cap engaging opening of approximately 25 mm. The defined geometry improves leverage, reduces wrist deviation and enhances grip stability during operation."
