MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441032791 A) filed by Cavinkare Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 25, 2024, for 'an improved oxidant system for cosmetics.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sajini Vadukumpully; and Mrs. Tara Kannan.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an oxidant system with low quantities of peroxide levels that can provide high levels of lightening of hair, or skin, and hair colouring with or without lightening powder/cream. Particularly, the present disclosure provides a composition for an oxidant system comprising a phosphate ester of specific log p value in conjunction with low level of peroxide to achieve high levels of lightening of hair, skin, and hair colouring."
