MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021590 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 21, 2024, for 'an infotainment system for a vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Arulkarthick Ganesan; Mukesh Vinayag Kumar; Thatavarthi Prakasam Suresh; and Datta Rajaram Sagare.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present subject matter relates to a vehicle (100) and more specifically to an infotainment system (200) for the vehicle (100). The infotainment system (200) comprises a control unit (202) communicatively connected to at least one of one 5 or more lighting units (206) and one or more audio transmission units (204). The control unit (202) is configured to control operation characteristics of the one or more lighting units (206) and one or more audio transmission units (204) based on received input signal from one or more users. The present subject matter additionally provides secure packaging of the infotainment system (200) in a 10 compact vehicle layout in a pre-defined region of the vehicle (100)."
