MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012610 A) filed by Nitin V Sapovadiya; and Rinkal Patel, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'an integrated foldable dinning table and chair.'

Inventor(s) include Nitin V Sapovadiya.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention includes a base frame (2, 2B), equipped with a tabletop assembly (3, 3B), and a seating assembly (4, 4B), all controlled by an advanced control system. The base frame (2, 2B) is configured with swivel caster wheels (26, 2B26) for mobility. Each seating assembly (4, 4B) is connected to the frame (2, 2B) through hinges-1 (22), facilitating easy folding and unfolding mechanisms. The control system features a microcontroller (611) that executes commands from user inputs via a button (612), remote (614), or voice recognition module (615). Upon receiving a folding or unfolding instruction, the microcontroller (611) activates an air compressor (62) that generates pressurized air. This air is directed to solenoid valves (622, 623) linked to the tabletop (3, 3B) and seating (4, 4B) assemblies, enabling smooth extension or retraction. Enhances space efficiency and user convenience."
