MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088398 A) filed by Shipraa Sharma, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 23, 2023, for 'an interactive method of communication with a consumer.'

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The preset invention discloses an interactive method of communication with a consumer - particularly, an interactive method of communication with a consumer using interactive audio response and recorder (IARR) using speech recognition and artificial intelligence to authenticate the customer. The system is such that it also records and stores the interaction between the consumer and the audio prompts of the IARR system . The recorded communication is thereafter saved in a database of the system - which can later be utilized by both company and law enforcement, based on need and applicability. The present system can be utilized for activation and deactivation of prepaid and postpaid sims, or activation and deactivation of KYC of customer for bank accounts, or activation and deactivation of customer bank accounts, or activation and deactivation of electricity service, water service or gas service etc. by the respective companies."
