MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341080918 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Nov. 29, 2023, for 'an inverter circuit.'

Inventor(s) include Surajit Das; and Junia Sosa George.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An Inverter Circuit The present invention relates to an inverter circuit (100). The inverter circuit (100) comprises a battery source (V) configured to provide a voltage and a current to the inverter circuit (100). The inverter circuit (100) further has one or more phases (P1, P2, P3) configured to be provided in parallel to each other and connected to the battery source (V) and a plurality of Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors (MOSFETs). The plurality of MOSFETs comprises a first MOSFET (M') and a second MOSFET (M''). The plurality of MOSFETs being configured to be provided in each of the one or more phases (P1, P2, P3). Further, the inverter circuit (100) includes a protection circuit (200) configured to be connected to one of the first MOSFET (M') and the second MOSFET (M''), thereby avoiding a short circuit."
