MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321079915 A) filed by Hyundai Mobis Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'an on-board performance monitoring system and a method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an on-board performance monitoring system (100) for a vehicle. The system (100) is configured to anticipate malfunctions in at least one component from a set of components including a braking module, advanced driver-assistance module (ADAS), collision avoidance module, a battery assistance module, and a parking module in real-time. Further, the present disclosure also relates to a method for monitoring and diagnosing the performance of a vehicle based on the proposed system (100)."
