MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537067437 A) filed by Vudoo Holdings Pty Ltd., Collingwood, Australia, on July 15, for 'an online commerce system.'

Inventor(s) include Morgan, Nicholas; and Sweeney, Ryan.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An online commerce system wherein the content server serves media content to the content viewer and the content viewer displays received media content. The content server serves to the content viewer commerce data that is usable to cause call-to-action indicia associated with an item for sale to be displayed with the media content. The commerce application is arranged to implement a user interface such that in response to selection of call-to-action indicia, a user is able to interact with the user interface to purchase an item. The commerce application facilitates access to an online commerce platform to action purchase of the item using the commerce application. The commerce management system interacts with the commerce application to receive the item purchase data indicative of purchase of an item and interfaces with at least one online commerce platform to effect purchase of the item using the item purchase data."
