According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure may relate to the field of ophthalmic pharmaceutical compositions for treating corneal disorders. An ophthalmic gel composition may comprise riboflavin in a therapeutically effective concentration of 0.05% to 0.5% by weight, a biocompatible hydrogel base selected from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, carbopol, and pharmaceutically acceptable equivalents thereof that may provide sustained corneal contact time of at least 30 minutes, vitamin D3 in an amount effective to modulate epithelial inflammation, copper ions in bioavailable form in an amount effective to enhance collagen crosslinking, magnesium ions in an amount effective to support enzymatic healing processes, and an osmolality adjusting agent that may maintain osmolality between 280 and 320 mOsm/kg. The composition may be formulated for topical ophthalmic application and may promote corneal stromal strengthening, epithelial regeneration, and structural remodeling."
