MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058879 A) filed by Pheon Therapeutics Ltd., Hertfordshire, U.K., on June 19, for 'antibodies to cub domain-containing protein 1 (cdcp1) and uses thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Zawel, Leigh; and Huang, Chi-Ting.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof that bind to human CDCP1. The disclosed antibodies are therefore useful for the treatment of cancer, either alone or in combination with other agents."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 15, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/062818.
