MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044141 A) filed by Kocher-Plastik Maschinenbau Gmbh, Sulzbach-Laufen, Germany, on May 7, for 'apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Schneider, Sven; Schnell, Michael; Kaupp, Florian; and Hagel, Simon.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an apparatus for producing container products, preferably by means of a shaping, filling and closing method, comprising an extrusion device (10), which produces a shapeable tube (16), which undergoes shaping from the outside at least partially following a container contour (22) by means of a shaping device (18) in a shaping zone (20), and comprising at least one mandrel unit (24), which, in cooperation with the shaping device (18), is accommodated in the tube (16) and at least partially shapes said tube from the inside, characterised in that, by means of a positioning device (52), each mandrel unit (24) is guided so as to be movable from an initial position outside the shaping zone (20) of the shaping device (18) into a specifiable shaping position as a defined end position inside the shaping zone (20) and vice versa."
