MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072582 A) filed by I. M. A. Industria Macchine Automatiche S. P. A., Ozzano dell'Emilia, Italy, on July 30, for 'apparatus and method for automatically filling and weighing containers.'

Inventor(s) include Stefanelli, Gabriele.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Apparatus (10) for automatically filling and weighing containers (C) supported by a carrier member (100), wherein said apparatus (10) at least comprises: a first station (12) for feeding said carrier member (100) sequentially, a second station (13) configured to fill and weigh said containers (C); a first robotic arm (17) configured to selectively move one carrier member (100) at a time, a second and a third robotic arm (19, 20) configured to receive respectively at least a first and a second carrier member (100a, 100b) from the first robotic arm (17) and to move them between one or more operative positions."
