MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617009447 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 29, for 'apparatus and method for generating battery information.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for generating battery information comprises: a profile acquisition unit configured to acquire a battery profile indicating the correspondence between the battery's capacity and voltage; and a control unit configured to set a positive electrode voltage range corresponding to the battery on the basis of a preset negative electrode planar range, adjust a preset reference positive electrode profile and a reference negative electrode profile so as to correspond to the battery profile on the basis of the positive electrode voltage range, and generate the battery's positive electrode profile and negative electrode profile according to the result of adjustment."
