MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065524 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd.; and Hefei Boe Display Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 9, for 'array substrate and display apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an array substrate and a display apparatus, comprising a base substrate. The base substrate comprises: a display region, the display region comprising multiple sub-pixel regions arranged in an array, the colors of the sub-pixel regions in the same row being the same, every two or more adjacent sub-pixel regions in the same column forming a pixel region, and the colors of each sub-pixel region in the same pixel region being different; multiple gate lines located at the row gaps of the sub-pixel regions, one gate line being coupled to one row of sub-pixel regions; multiple data lines located at the column gaps of the sub-pixel regions, one data line being coupled to two columns of sub-pixel regions, adjacent rows of sub-pixel regions coupled to the same data line being located in adjacent columns, at least a portion of the data line comprising a base used to support a spacer a spacer, and the data line being wider at the base; and at least one retaining wall located adjacent to a base; in a direction from the base substrate vertically toward the layer where the data line is located, a surface of the retaining wall distant from the base substrate is higher than a surface of the data line distant from the base substrate, and the retaining wall at least partially surrounds the base."
