MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066930 A) filed by Maxterial, Inc., Pleasanton, U.S.A., on July 14, for 'articles with decorative surface coatings.'
Inventor(s) include Haghdoost, Atieh; Kargar, Mehdi; Ilgar, Ersan; and Church, Daniel.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Decorative items with surface coatings are described. A surface of the decorative item can include a surface coating. The surface coating can include many different materials and may include a metal or metal alloy such as, for example, a molybdenum alloy. A decorative coating layer comprising chromium or other materials can be present on an alloy layer, e.g., on a molybdenum alloy layer."
