MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517096287 A) filed by Genius Emobility System SL, Madrid, on Oct. 7, for 'articulated tricycle with anti-rollover system.'

Inventor(s) include Carrasco Vergara, Pablo.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an articulated tricycle with a simple and economic anti-rollover system, formed by: a front chassis, where the driver is located, with a single wheel at the front of the vehicle that is controlled by handlebars; and a rear chassis, with two rear wheels that define the single direction forward travel thereof. According to the invention, both chassis are connected by a pivot hinge that forms a substantially upward angle (a) above the direction of forward travel, the hinge therefore allowing the driver to tilt together with the front chassis when the vehicle takes a bend but forcing the rear chassis to yaw towards the inside of the bend, thereby providing same with anti-rollover stability, since, when the rear part swerves towards the inside of a bend, the front wheel has to lean more towards the outside, increasing the radial distance between supports, the ability to tilt being prevented upon braking."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 26, 2024, under International application No.PCT/ES2024/070260.
