MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083054 A) filed by Ishwar, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Dec. 6, 2023, for 'artificial chlorophyll.'
Inventor(s) include Ishwar.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "By artificially producing chlorophyll - The chlorophyll which we take from nature for medical use has harmful effects on plants and can not be preserved for a long time and chlorophyll can be used on photosynthesis so that we can reduce the greenhouse effect and can generate electricity. To make chlorophyll artificially, triglyceride and glutamic acid and MgCl2 are required. By doing chemical reaction between them, chlorophyll can be obtained which can be used in medicine and artificial photosynthesis, due to which the green house effect can be reduced and nature friendly electricity can be generated."
