MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521059445 A) filed by Dr. Bogle Deepa K; Dr. Parag Upendra Bhalchandra; Dr. Aniket Avinash Muley; Dr. Santosh Dhondopant Khamitkar; Dr. Sushant Diwakarrao Deshmukh; and Dr. Kashinath Arjun Bogle, Nanded, Maharashtra, on June 20, for 'artificial intelligence-based system and method for forecasting future commodity prices using machine learning techniques.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Bogle Deepa K; Dr. Parag Upendra Bhalchandra; Dr. Aniket Avinash Muley; Dr. Santosh Dhondopant Khamitkar; Dr. Sushant Diwakarrao Deshmukh; and Dr. Kashinath Arjun Bogle.

The application for the patent was published on July 11, under issue no. 28/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system on chip (102) configured to facilitate a system (100) for future price estimation of commodity. The system (100) comprises a System-on-Chip (SoC) (102) with a reconfigurable logic block configured to collect and parse structured and unstructured historical and real-time data from external sources such as online marketplaces, social media, and government databases. The parsed data is stored locally and a mobile computing device (104) transmits user queries to a server (112). The server (112), in communication with both the SoC (102) and the mobile device (104), includes a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) (212) that retrieves, cleans, normalizes, and transforms the parsed data into a pre-defined format. One or more processors (202), coupled to the FPGA (212), utilize an AI-Machine Learning (ML) engine (208) with a matrix computation accelerator to predict future costs using models including Hybrid Moving Average, Logical Regression, and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). Predicted costs are displayed on the user interface of the mobile device (104)."
