MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003691 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 18, 2024, for 'artificial waterfall generating device for swimming pool.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An artificial waterfall generating device for swimming pool, comprising a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface in proximity to a swimming pool, a camera 4 is installed on housing 1 for capturing multiple images of surrounding of housing 1 to detect periphery of swimming pool, multiple wheels 5 configured beneath housing 1 that to maneuver housing 1 along periphery of swimming pool, an ultrasonic sensor mapped on housing 1 for detecting water level within swimming pool, a drawer arrangement 7 integrated with a pair of L-shaped hollow shafts 6 to extend for inserting shafts 6 within swimming pool, multiple spouts 8 for dispensing water on the swimming pool, a pump installed within housing 1 for withdrawing and dispensing water via each of spouts 8 to provide waterfall experience to user, a rain sensor mounted on housing 1 for detecting presence of rain."
