MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010309 A) filed by Elofic Industries Limited, Faridabad, Haryana, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'assembly for forming a filter tube.'
Inventor(s) include Mohan Bir Sahni; J S Gill; Sandeep Kakkar; and Saheb Sahni.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an assembly (100) for forming a filter tube from a sheet. The assembly (100) includes a center rod (104) which is extended axially outward to form a cylindrical shape of the sheet. The assembly (100) further includes a U-bending cylinder (106) to enable placement and movement of the sheet upward towards the center rod (104) to perform bending of the sheet around the center rod (104) to a predefined level. The assembly (100) further includes a tube formation sub-assembly (108) to perform folding of the bent sides of the sheet around the center rod (104) and a plurality of welding electrodes (110) to form welded joints at a plurality of positions on overlapped portions of the folded sheet to form the filter tube. Thereafter, the assembly includes an ejector (112) for ejecting the filter tube outside."
