MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019160 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'assistive device for assembling false ceiling frame.'
Inventor(s) include Ashish Simalti.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assistive device for assembling false ceiling frame, comprising a platform 1 associated with the device, an image capturing module 2 installed on the platform 1 for determining dimension of the ceiling, a storage unit 3 installed on the platform 1 stored with multiple metal panels, a primary robotic arm 4 installed on the platform 1 for positioning the panel over a channel, a storage chamber 5 installed on the platform 1 for storing different sized nuts, a secondary robotic arm 6 assembled on the platform 1 for gripping the nut and positioning the nut on a bolt and a motorized ratchet wrench 7 installed on the platform 1 via a telescopic rod 8 to extend and fix the wrench 7 over the nut for tightening the nut."
