MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010757 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'assistive device for germination of pulse.'
Inventor(s) include Kusum Farswan.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assistive device for germination of pulse, comprising a cylindrical hollow body 1 constructed with a disc 2 configured with a pair of curved members 3 having first ends connected with each other via a motorized hinge 13, for isolating/exposing interior of body 1, a cylindrical rod 4 configuring mesh trays 5 in which pulse is filled, a touch enabled screen 6 for feeding commands for germinating pulses, a camera 7 for detecting type of pulse, accordingly humidity level, temperature and time is decoded, three electronic sprinklers 8 paired with a water chamber 9 dispensing water on pulses, a Peltier unit for maintaining temperature of body 1, a humidity sensor for detecting humidity level, seven iris pores 10 crafted on members 3 to open, an air blower 11 blows air to reduce humidity, and a RTC module measures time duration, and a speaker 12 for notifying user to collect pulse."
