MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084002 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'assistive device for monitoring wall alignments.'

Inventor(s) include Sarbpreet Kaur; and Pradeep Kumar Jindal.

The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assistive device for monitoring wall alignments comprising a primary 1 and secondary 2 elongated frame associated with device and positioned on a first and second position on a ground surface, a base plate 3 arranged on second portion of frames for providing support to frames, an imaging unit 4 for capturing surroundings images, a display panel 5 for displaying mapping and also enabling a user to select an orientation and height up to which user desires to construct a wall, a motorized sliding unit 6 for positioning a rack 7 at height, a motorized rollers 8 arranged adjacent to racks 7 for winding/unwinding a string 9 to provide a guiding path to user, multiple teeth 10 constructed on racks 7 for securing string 9 on racks 7, a RADAR sensor for detecting levelling of layered bricks, and projection unit 11 for projecting holographic image on the bricks."
