MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006190 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'assistive eye-brows grooming device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyanka Kaushal; Dr. Inderjot Kaur; Arpan Sood; Mohammad Sahil; and Dr. Ramandeep Saini.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assistive eye-brows grooming device, comprising a U-shaped body 1 configured with a handle 2 for positioning body 1 near eyebrows, a mirror 3 for assisting user in positioning body 1, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 for generating 3D mapping of eyebrows which is displayed on a computing unit enabling user to suggest designs of eyebrows, a frame 5 configured with plurality of bristles 6 arranged on body 1 for entangling eyebrows, a motorized scissor 7 for trimming eyebrows, an extendable plate 8 for collecting hairs, a collapsible pipe 9 configured with a suction unit 10 for transferring collected hairs to a receptacle 11, a pair of robotic grippers 13 for applying a strip from a chamber 12 over peripheral area, a hair density sensor paired with imaging unit 4 for detecting hair density based on which a RTC module keeps track of time on strip application."
