MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007480 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'assistive tabletop gaming device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an assistive tabletop gaming device, comprises a hollow frame 1 configured with a pair of plates 2, accommodated by a user on an amputated hand, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on frame 1 for capturing and determining size of hand, a telescopically operated plate 5 attached between the plates 2 for extending or retracting to provide an appropriate space between plates 2 to perfectly accommodate the hand, an ultrasonic sensor installed inside frame 1 for detecting inserting of hand inside the frame 1, an impact sensor installed on frame 1 for detecting impact of a ball on plates 2, a sensing module installed inside frame 1 for detecting vital health parameters of user along with blood flow in hand."
