MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024069 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'audio-enabled first-aid assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Maninder Kour; and Dr. Nilesh Suresh Dalvi.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An audio-enabled first-aid assistive device, comprising a wearable cuboidal frame 1 having a pair of looped straps accessed by a user to wear on the user's back, plurality of chambers 2 integrated in the frame 1 for enabling a user to store multiple medical supplies, a pair of roller 3 arranged on the frame 1 to unwrap/wrap the straps, a speaker 4 integrated on the frame 1 for guiding the user towards the location, a cushioned member 5 fabricated on the frame 1 for enabling the patient to get accommodated, a motorized flap 6 arranged on the frame 1 for enabling the user to access the stored medical supplies, imaging unit 7 installed on the frame 1 to determine steadiness of the accommodated patient and a microphone 8 arranged on the frame 1 for enabling the user to provide input voice commands."
