MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024058 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated acoustic panel installation device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Satendra Singh; and Aishwary Awasthi.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated acoustic panel installation device that is comprises of a housing positioned on a ground surface within an enclosure and installed with a chamber installed with multiple pairs of pneumatic pins for storing multiple acoustic panels, a touch enabled screen is installed on the housing for enabling a user to give input commands regarding installation of the panel in a slot carved at a ceiling portion of the enclosed, a microcontroller linked with the screen that processes the input command and activates an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit mounted on the housing and paired with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of the ceiling portion, respectively, for detecting exact location of the slot, said microcontroller actuates plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels configured underneath the housing for maneuvering and positioning the housing underneath the slot."
