According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated acrylic nail remover device, comprising a first 1 and second vertical elongated bodies 1, 2 developed to be affixed over a fixed surface, a user is required to position finger between bodies 1, 2, a microphone 3 receives voice commands for removing an acrylic nail from finger, a laser projection unit 4 guides user, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 detects exact location of user's finger, a telescopically operated gripper 6 grips a free-end of a metal wire 7 wrapped on a spool 8 for inserting in a ring 9, a motorized iris lid 10 closes for gripping wire 7 with ring 9, a motorized slider 14 translates ring 9 such that wire 7 is passed between original finger nail and acrylic nail for removal of acrylic nail, an electronic nozzle 11 attached with a water chamber 12 for dispensing water to clean user's nail."
