MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019372 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'automated agricultural field partitioning device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated agricultural field partitioning device comprises a housing 1 developed to be positioned on an agricultural field, a touch-enabled screen 2 installed to enable a user to give input commands, a microcontroller linked with the screen 2 that processes the input commands, and activates a camera 3 for capturing multiple images, the microcontroller processes the captured images by means of an AI for detecting area of the field. an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 5 equipped with a set of conical rotatable members 6, for making the boundaries of the user-defined width, a plurality of pneumatic pins 8 configured with each of the wheels 7 for providing an appropriate grip to the wheels 7, a tactile sensor for detecting hardness of the soil, an electronic nozzle 10 attached with a water chamber 11 dispensing water to loosen the soil."
