MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025488 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated anti-seepage sheet installation device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Chhinder Kaur; Rajinder Kumar; Ashish Guleria; and Akshit Madan.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated anti-seepage sheet installation device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body 1 to determine positioning of the body 1 with respect to a concrete wall present in proximity to the body 1, motorized wheels 10 to move the body 1 towards the wall, hydraulically operated rods 3 to extend for positioning a vertical motorized sliding unit 4 in front of the wall, multi-sectioned chamber 5 for storing metal sheets, robotic arms 6 to grip a metal sheet stored in the chamber 5, sliding unit 4 for positioning gripped sheet in proximity to the clamping units 7, hydraulic actuator 8 for forcing the sheet at the gapping and ultrasonic-enabled vibrating units 9 produce vibrating sensation for enforcing the sheet in the wall at the gapping."
