MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017968 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'automated articulated vehicle container loading/unloading device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated articulated vehicle container loading/unloading device, comprising a platform 1 attached with four hydraulically operated rods 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines dimensions of an articulated vehicle approaching towards platform 1 and rods 2 extend/retract for adjusting height of platform 1 to allow vehicle to pass from underneath of platform 1, a proximity sensor determines distance between a container and platform 1, two hydraulically operated links 4 arranged underneath platform 1 to extend for positioning a suction unit 5 integrated on each links 4 over container to adhere container on suction units 5, succeeded by retraction of links 4 to uplift container from vehicle, a database is scrutinized for determining information regarding loading of unload container, and if loading operation is scheduled, then a speaker 6 notifies user for passing of a particular vehicle to pass underneath platform 1 to load of container."
