MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004758 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 23, 2024, for 'automated backhoe loader stabilizer pad replacement device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated backhoe loader stabilizer pad replacement device comprising, a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 is positioned on platform 1 that is accessed by a user for providing input regarding requirement of replacement of a stabilizer pad of a backhoe loader, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on platform 1 and integrated with a processor to determine positioning of backhoe loader with respect to platform 1, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 5 assembled on platform 1 that is actuated by microcontroller to get extended in sync with imaging unit 3 for establishing a contact with pad, an electronically controlled nozzle integrated on one section of chamber to dispense a cleaning solution stored within chamber onto pad to clean pad."
