MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018819 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'automated bead wire removal device for tires.'
Inventor(s) include Shubhendra Pratap Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bead wire removal device for tires, comprising a platform 1 crafted with a slot 2 for accommodating a tire, an imaging unit 3 installed on the platform 1 for detecting proper placement of the tire, a pair of hydraulic press 4 configured on the platform 1 for securing the tire, a circular telescopic bar 5 configured with an electromagnet 6 embedded on one of the press 4 for detecting placement of a bead wire within the tire, a hook 7 attached on the bar 5 to secure the bead wire, a motorized shaft 8 installed in between the bar 5 and press 4 for providing rotational motion to the bar 5, a chamber 9 installed on the platform 1 for storing the removed bead wire and a robotic arm 10 installed on the platform 1 positioning the wire within the chamber 9."
