MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020765 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated bench top drilling machine drive and driven belt replacement device.'
Inventor(s) include Ashendra Kumar Saxena.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bench top drilling machine drive and driven belt replacement device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface, an imaging unit 2 installed on platform 1 to determine position of a drilling machine, plurality of motorized wheels 3 arranged underneath the platform 1 for manoeuvring platform 1, a pair of robotic arms 5 installed on platform 1 to grip required tool from a multi-sectioned chamber 4 arranged on platform 1 for unfastening casing of the machine, a telescopically operated bar 6installed on platform 1 for positioning a LiDAR sensor 7 to detect position of a drive and driven belt installed inside the machine, multiple LEDs 9 installed on platform 1 to provide visibility to the imaging unit 2, a speaker 10 integrated on the platform 1 to produce audio command and a tachometer 11 integrated on the bar 6 for monitoring rpm to ensure working status."
