MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019318 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'automated bend tube clamps manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ashok Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bend tube clamps manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 installed with a platform 2 to be placed with metal sheet, a touch screen 3 installed on the housing 1 for enabling a user's input commands, a camera 4 mounted within the housing 1 detecting sheet's dimension, pair of plates 5 installed on the platform 2 for gripping the sheet, a motorized cutter 6 attached with housing 1 via a telescopically operated rod 7 for cutting the sheet by providing bidirectional movement to the cutter 6 via two-axis lead screw arrangement 8 attached with the rod 7, a gripper 9 installed within the housing 1 for placing the cut-sheet on one of plurality of dies 10 arranged with the housing 1 and plurality of pressing units 11 attached with plurality of bars 12 for pressing the cut-sheet."
