MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024035 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated bird bathing device.'
Inventor(s) include Tikshata Wamborkar; and Dr. Mahesh Kumar Yadav.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bird bathing device, comprises of a housing 1 crafted with multiple openings 2 to ensure appropriate ventilation inside the housing 1, a touch interactive display panel 3 to input requirement of bathing of the birds, a motorized flaps 4 to deploy over the housing 1 in a manner to restrict passage of light within the housing 1, a cylindrical member 5 to enable passage of light, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 6 to determine the location of the bird, a pair of motorized sliding units 7 to provide translation to the a motorized soft clamp 8 in view of positioning the clamp 8 in proximity to the bird, a laser displacement to detect dimensions of the bird to grip the bird, and multiple electronic sprayers 11 to dispense a regulated amount of medicated cleaning solution over the bird."
